If you take a close look at the rash of gun violence in the city, the lack of closure and more, you will find that those committing the crimes are young African American men killing other young African American men with the police a mile away in resolving them.
If you have your head to the ground you will often hear some police officers say, “Well that is just another drug dealer down” or “That is just one less, dumb ass Nigga to worry about” which makes you wonder if the police really give a fuck if black people are killing each other. Geez we are just Niggaz!
If these killings were taking place in Jack Evan’s or Mary Cheh’s side of the city and the victims were white people being killed by us Niggaz you would see not just the MPD, DEA and FBI; you might also see the KKK involved to track down those Niggaz doing it and there would be results.
My ass isn’t worth shit because I am African American male or just another statistical nigga.

The problem is the Council is withholding funds for the anti-violence programs to ensure it has a surplus at the end of the fiscal year.
Jack Evans has controversy brewing now with a 7th & O Safe Street Initiative where the funds allocated in the budget are not being given to the program.
One shooting in Ward 5 this week around 19th and Maryland Avenue was witnessed by CIN officials (children in the neighborhood) outside playing when a young black man walked up to another in broad daylight and shot him in the face!
After the victim fell, two more black guys ran up, shot the victim a few more times, threw a key and some marijuana on the ground. As they esacped in a "black bubble" car, one shooter threw his gun in a mailbox nearby!
This report came from the CIN - dozens of themn who have been asking for a recreation center and all they have are the streets along the corridor to play and watch young black males get shot up!
By the way, if you check out the view of where the victim was shot, he was probably looking straight at the Capitol Building.
You see, all the political leaders want to clear that community out to make way for high rise condos that will have a clear view of the Capitol Builing and RFK Stadium.
What's a dead black body when developers see gold ahead?
When white citizens suffer harm that's when the leadership moves away from the tv camera, put their asses to work, and act judiciously to get laws changed, or whatver it takes to restore public trust. (i.e. Pershing Park protestors, slain NY Times reporter journalist). No, the city doesn't give a damn about the lives of black citizens.
It's no different if I am raising and disciplining my children, working and living responsibly and trying to do positive things, and yet I catch a bullet in a crossfire. It's no different if I am living IN the hood but not OF the hood. It's no different if my mayor and Ward 4 and council representative look like me, but because they are siddity as hell, they look down their noses at me. We are all summarily indicted as worthless.
