The mayor of District Heights, Md., a Baptist minister was arrested in northwest D.C. last night and charged with solicitation for lewd and immoral purposes.
James L. Walls Jr., 30, was arrested at Sixth and F streets. Sources said he allegedly solicited a male prostitute who was actually an undercover officer.

Mayor Wallace is a close friend of Mayor Adrian Fenty and a part of the bi/gay network of political leaders in the Metro DC area.
